Hi I'm Julie Harrison

I’m a college student. I love to learn and laugh at lot. I’m a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Julie, I am from a small town in North Florida, and I am the youngest of 5 children. Growing up, I was involved in FFA and absolutely love it. I love being outside and being around all kinds of animals. I love art, specifically photography and I enjoy doing anything crafty. Most importantly, I love to laugh and enjoy life the best that I can. I am a student at BYU-Idaho, majoring in Marriage & Family Studies, to become a Family Therapist. The family unit is very important to me and I want to help others understand and feel the importance of it for themselves. Beginning in November 2013, I will spend 18 months of my life sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the Nevada Las Vegas Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Mormon faith and have known it for my entire life. Most of my friends were not of the same faith, and even at a young age, I could see how it affected our lives. I have experienced the joy that is found through following the commandments and teaching of the church. Through study and prayer, I have found that the Book of Mormon is true and Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are real. They love each and every one of us; they always have and always will.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being an example of Jesus Christ to those around me. I also love to serve others and find ways that I can do so. I believe that you don’t necessarily have to have a nametag to share the Gospel of Christ. Each day, I strive to be the best person I can be and do as Christ would.
