Hi I'm Levi

I was born on a lovely rainy day in Seattle, Washington. I am a singer and pianist, music is my passion. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just graduated from High School in May of 2013. I have decided to serve my Mission before I go to college, and I have received my call to serve in the Fiji, Suva Mission. I go into the MTC on October 2nd, 2013. On of my major passions is music. I find so much joy and comfort in the messages music can bring into my life. But nothing gives me more pleasure than sharing music with others. I have had the opportunity to perform around my town at various restaurants and venues all throughout my High School career. I play the piano, and I sing; and the music I play is not from my generation. I love the music from the 60s, 70s and 80s. From all of these eras of music, I have found my true love of performing, and how I believe music can have such a profound impact on our feelings, our thoughts, and our memories.

Why I am a Mormon

I love this church. To be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints means so much to me. I feel in my heart that it is true. I know that our God, our Heavenly Father, is there. He exists, and is the same today, tomorrow, and yesterday. I have been raised by parents who are members of this church, and who love all the aspects of it. I have learned to apply so many values and principles to my life that have increased my constantly growing love for my God and my fellow men. My testimony is simple. Our Savior Jesus Christ came to this earth to Atone for the sins of the world, and that we may come and repent of our sins and transgressions, even at a daily level. We make mistakes, and the path has been placed so that we may be forgiven of these mistakes. I know my God lives. I know my Redeemer, His Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ lives. I know that this church is the only true church on this earth in these Latter-Days. And now I will live to say what I believe, and to testify of the truths that I know and love.

How I live my faith

I have always tried to be the best I can to serve others. I believe service is the center of love. To love others is the most powerful impact we share on this earth. Like the Gospel, it's the simple things that make the most sense. Saying hello to someone, giving a wave, smiling, or asking someone how they are doing, etc. The list goes on and on. And it IS simple, it really is. Christ taught, "As I have loved you, love one another." So powerful a phrase, it shows that Christ loves us. Our Heavenly Father loves us. They are there for us, and want the very best for us. We should return this love to those all around us. At times it seems hard, things may not always go as planned, but it is the act of service and continual love that we perform that will bless the lives of others. And we in return, will be blessed for giving our service. Nothing wanted in return, sacrifice is what service takes. I have and will always strive to love others.
