Hi I'm Cole Tanner

I'm from Orem, Utah. I'm currently serving in the Texas Houston Mission, I love food, music, and Jesus Christ.

About Me

I grew up playing sports my whole life, and still love them. I love music. I love playing the guitar, and singing with the boys. I grew up a Mormon, and try to deepen my conversion everyday. After I'm done serving my mission in Houston, I want to get my degree in sales and marketing. I am the 2nd of 3 kids. I have 1 older brother, 1 younger sister, 1 Mom, and 1 Dad.

Why I am a Mormon

Because I love the gospel, and the life it has given me. I love the spirit I can feel constantly throughout my day. I am a Mormon because I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints contains the fulness of truth. On top of that, God has given us a living prophet. A modern day Moses. I know this through prayer, scripture study, and by seeing the fruits of the gospel in my life, and the lives of others.

How I live my faith

I grew up in the church, but didn't receive a testimony of my own until about 2 years ago while on a car drive with my uncle. I don't remember what was said, but I will always remember the spirit that was felt. since then, I decided to serve a mission. I was called to serve in Texas where my conversion to the restored gospel of Jesus Christ has deepened. I hope to build upon, and solidify my testimony in Christ, and his atonement everyday. I do that by studying the scriptures. The word of God is what has deepened my conversion the most. Not just reading the Word, but pondering it, and opening my heart to the things it teaches. I know that if we apply the teachings of the Prophets of God in our lives, we will renew and deepen our understanding of who we are, who God is, and what the world is.
