Hi I'm Erik

I grew up in rural Alberta canada. I am going on a mission to the San Pablo Philippines mission. I am a Mormon.

About Me

Right now i am an average teenage boy. I love just about any sport I can get my hands on. I play basketball, volleyball, golf, badminton, and compete/competed in several track events throughout my high school years. I work in a provincial park during summer to make money to pay for University and a mission. I plan on becoming a dentist, and look forward to many more years of school.

Why I am a Mormon

I have lived in the church my whole life. My family has always been active and i have found no reason to change. I Know that sticking with my church is the best choice i can make. I fully believe with all my heart that belonging to my church and serving a mission is very important, and helping me fallow in Christ's footsteps.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith through service and example. I try my very best to be there to help others with anything from shingling a roof to splitting fire wood (yes some people still burn wood to heat their homes). I try my best to set a good example for the younger kids at church. I know many of them watch my every move, so i try hard always to be a role model for the young guys. Another way I live my faith is by serving a full time mission. Basically I go out for two years as a missionary and teach others about our church, and what we as Mormons believe.
