Hi I'm Nick Harris

I was born in Sparks, NV. Have two older brothers. One is serving a mission and another who served a mission. I´m LDS

About Me

I love volleyball and I´m an Eagle Scout. I'm serving a 2 year mission for my church in the Missouri Independence Mission. I love being with my two older brothers and my mom and dad.

Why I am a Mormon

I've prayed about it and I know it´s true. While I've served a mission I've had so many people try to put down my faith. I've had my doubts but I've always known that its true. I cannot turn my back on what I know to be true. I love my Savior and his gospel.

How I live my faith

I read my scriptures every day. I spend 10 hours every 6 months watching and listening to the prophet and apostles speak. I pray way more than that. I try to be nice to everyone and choose the right.

What do Mormons believe concerning the doctrine of grace?

Nick Harris
We, as members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints believe that grace is essential for our salvation. We believe that it is through the Atonement of Christ (or His suffering in Gethsemane, death on the cross and Resurrection from the tomb) that we can all be saved from physical death (mortality) and spiritual death (sin). However, agency is essential to this. God has blessed us with the ability to choose and receive the consequences entitled to that choice. We invite everyone to gain a testimony of Jesus Christ and rely on His Atonement through Faith in Him, Repentance, Baptism, the Gift of the Holy Ghost and by Enduring to the End. This is how we show our faith in Him and His Grace. Show more Show less
