Hi I'm Becky

I grew up in Illinois. I am a mother of 5 children. I am obsessed with baking. I love Bon Jovi. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay-at-home mother of 5 awesome children who enjoys baking, gardening, canning, reading, playing the piano, organizing, helping others and laughing!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and taught by faithful parents about Jesus Christ and his restored gospel. As I grew up, I began to gain my own testimony as I lived the gospel and as I made mistakes. I am a member of the church because it is true. It has changed me. As I live the gospel and continue to strive to follow my Savior I am blessed with happiness and joy that I have never found anywhere else. As I follow the teachings of Jesus Christ I can feel His spirit guiding and directing me. I can feel myself becoming more like Him. As I read and study the scriptures I can feel His spirit testifying to me that they are true. The Lord answers my prayers and helps me feel His love for me as I seek to be close to Him through studying and obeying His word.

How I live my faith

I enjoy volunteering at my children's school. I am currently the chairperson for the Accelerated Reader program. In my church I oversee our women's program by working with others to organize Sunday teaching, weeknight activities, welfare programs and assistance, community service opportunities, compassionate service assistance and opportunities that help our women become true disciples of Jesus Christ. I love to prepare and serve meals at our local Salvation Army Booth house for those who are homeless. I also serve as a visiting teacher. Being a visiting teacher is a ministry of love and friendship. I minister to those I am assigned by loving them, providing service when needed and visiting them on a regular basis.

What is the Relief Society?

The Relief Society is the Lord's organization for women. It is where women teach each other, serve together, learn together, laugh together and become true disciples of Jesus Christ. Show more Show less
