Hi I'm Kyle Gleason

I grew up in Vancouver, WA. I love sports. I've been called to serve in the Missouri Independence Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love playing basketball and watching it. Basketball is kind of the family sport at my house... for the boys. My dad plays, my older brother plays, and my younger brothers play. I am on my mission currently serving in the Missouri Independence Mission. I enjoy most other sports and hanging with friends is always great. I love being with my friends and just talking to them makes me feel good. Service is something else that I enjoy a lot! I get so much joy out of helping other people and doing it without needing any praise or getting paid. That is also something that makes me feel great! I love to be myself! I just do what I know is right and don't really care what others think about me. If it's right and it falls in line with the gospel of Jesus Christ I'll do it!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a member of the church but that's not why I'm a Mormon. I have experienced myself the joy of having the gospel in my life and have loved being in a gospel centered family. I have experienced the truth of the Book of Mormon. I have received that personal witness that I know it's true and I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet and that he saw God the Father and Jesus Christ. I have come to know that these things are true for myself.

How I live my faith

I am currently on a mission so I'm going about and spreading the Gospel and doing the Lords work. When I was back home I would just invite those that were my friends who were not members to play church ball with me and to come to some activities. I just like to go about doing good and giving meaningful service to those who need it.

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Kyle Gleason
As a missionary we are called of God to go out and to "teach all nations" (Matt 28:19). The Gospel of Jesus Christ has blessed us so much in our lives that we come out on a mission for two years to preach the gospel. We desire to bring those blessings that we have experienced to those that have not experienced them yet. Show more Show less
