Hi I'm Dan Tapia

I was born in Mexico City, grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah. Currently serving a mission in Texas San Antonio

About Me

Hello, I come from a family of 6, two older brothers and a twin sister. I am currently serving a full time mission in the Texas San antonio Mission. I love being able to serve the people in this area everyday for 2 years, trying to find ways to bring happiness to people's lives is one of the most satisfying things that i could ask for.

Why I am a Mormon

When ever I am going through a rough time I know that my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are there for me even when no one else in the world is, i know that Jesus has felt what i've felt and that he can comfort me or put people in my way that will change my perspective on things.

How I live my faith

Growing up in the church made it easy in my early years to live my faith, but as i got older i knew i had to find out for myself what this was about, so that's what i did, i searched and pondered the scriptures in prayer and I know that the book of mormon is true and that Joseph Smith was a prophet and that there are modern day prophets at this time; knowing this compelled me to go on a mission to share what i know to people that are looking for happiness and joy in their lives.

What is faith?

Dan Tapia
Faith is an action, it requires us to act on what we believe. it is to believe in something that you cant see but you hope its there. it is not to have a perfect knowledge of things but to hope for things to be there and god will later on give us that perfect knowledge. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe happens to us after we die? What do Mormons believe about life after death?

Dan Tapia
We believe that after we die our bodies will stay here and our spirits will go to the spirit world. this is where we will be for a time, until the resurrection, which is when your spirit and your body will be united permanently. Show more Show less
