Hi I'm Christina

I grew up in Utah. I enjoy being involved in theatre, dance and music. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of three sisters. My family is very important to me. I have always enjoyed the arts. When I was a child, I was involved in a school choir. I also trained in classical ballet for nearly ten years. When I grew older, I switched from ballet to theatre. I did the musicals and plays that were put on at my high school. I also did a little with community theatre. Some of my favorite musicals are Phantom of the Opera, Newsies and Les Miserables. Aside from the arts, I also enjoy reading and writing. My favorite book is Pride and Prejudice. Traveling is another favorite thing to do, and I enjoy doing it with my family. I love to see other cultures, and experience the many opportunities and diversities in the world. I have been to several countries outside of the United States and have also traveled to many places within the States. I enjoy learning and experiencing new things.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents have been members their whole lives, so I was raised in the Church. However, I still had to find out for myself if I believed in the gospel. It wasn't always easy. I had a lot of questions. Yet, I continued to be involved in Church, and I continued to learn and grow. I prayed and read the scriptures. And I did find my answer. I do know for myself that the gospel is true, and that Jesus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer. I know that we are God's children, and He loves us, and wants us to return to Him. I know families can be together forever. I know the Book of Mormon and the Bible are the word of God, and are true. I know that Joseph Smith was a Prophet, and that Thomas S. Monson is a true and living Prophet today. I am so grateful for this knowledge and how it has helped me throughout my life.

How I live my faith

I try to live the standards of the Church in my daily life. It is simply trying to follow Christ, and be like Him. I am also preparing to serve an eighteen month mission for the Church. I am excited for the opportunity to serve God's children in a new place and assist in God's work.
