Hi I'm Woochul Song

I grew up in South Korea. Lived half of my life all over in Canada. I'm serving in Canada Calgary Mission. I love sports&music! :)

About Me

A little bit to introduce myself, I was born within my goodly parents. I just have one younger brother who is serving in Edmonton Mission. I was blessed to be born within this family and grow up with the gospel. My family moved to Canada when I was young. We've moved to a lot of different places in Canada and we're officially settled in Vancouver, British Columbia.. Hopefully.... ;) I've lived in Canada for about half of my life time. I'm originally from South Korea and I was born there. My hobbies would be sports and music! I was in a soccer team when I was in high school and played provincials. I just play for fun now. I also play Badminton in nationals. I also played in Handball Team in Saskatchewan. I love all sports to tell the truth. Some musical instruments I play are piano, violin, played in band as percussionist and little bit of Acoustic Guitar. I really love experiencing, learning new things, travelling, camping, any sort of things that can be beneficial for me and for the human kind. For me, my purpose of life is to learn and grow. I believe that is why we are here. To gain a mortal body, being from spirits, and experience happiness and joy in this life while all things are provided from God's creation.

Why I am a Mormon

I chose to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because I know this church is the true church. It is the Church of Jesus Christ. It has been restored through our beloved Prophet Joseph Smith for this last dispensation. The Book of Mormon was truly translated by the Power of God. It is real when we truly soften our hearts and receive the true doctrine and gospel by having faith in Christ. I follow His commandments and His gospel because it helps me to be faithful to be righteous and it brings happiness to my life, to my family, my friends and all those people around me. I know that families can be together forever even after we die through Heavenly Father's plan. It really is a blessing to know these things and can bring peace and happiness to your life being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by the testimony of our Savior and His Father. Many people ask how do you gain a testimony? For me, I gain the testimony by truly seeing and heeding carefully the circumstances and reflecting(prayer)the daily moments we have that can affect "me". Greater things come from by small simple things that come across in our lives. But without certain knowledge we cannot understand the full picture. And that knowledge is the gospel. The testimony of the Restoration of the Gospel comes to everyone naturally in our daily lives. It is a gift that everyone can have. However, in order to receive the testimony, we need to open and soften our hearts if we want to receive them, "And inasmuch as you are diligent and humble, and exercise the prayer of faith, behold, I will soften the hearts of those to whom you are in debt, until I shall send means unto you for your deliverance." (D&C 104:80). It is really difficult for us especially during this developed world. There are so many different distractions (Entertainments, Internet, etc...) and opinions sometimes it is hard to know what the purpose of life is. The world is changing dramatically. And I ask myself, am I living the way the world wants me to live or are am I living the way our Savior wants me to live? Because world is changing doesn't mean we need to change our natural human behavior. Our natural human behavior is generosity, kind, love, sharing, honoring our parents, and all the good things that come for us and others around us. The way how human are suppose to be. Just like children. Imagine if the world was filled with children! The world would be so different! They don't look things negatively but accept things so easily with their pure heart. Not everyone, but we adults are sometimes are hard heartened. And when we are hard heartened, it is difficult to receive the testimony of our Savior. If we live and strive according to the gospel, I believe that the testimony can come from the spirit of God.
