Hi I'm Sierra

I'm a runner, a BYU student, a violinist, and a missionary in Ecuador. I'm a mormon

About Me

I'm the fourth of eight kids who all love music, sports, and reading. My parents taught me it was very important to be well rounded and be involved in a lot of different things. In high school I was concert mistress of the orchestra, captain of the cross country team, leader of a student service organization, competed at the state track meet, played lacrosse for my high school, joined a local rec basketball team, and graduated first in my class. I spent a year studying at BYU provo and found out this summer I have been accepted into the nursing program. But I have deferred until Fall 2015 because I have been called to serve a mission in Ecuador. I couldn't be more excited!!!!!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I've read the Book of Mormon. The feeling I get when I read it makes me happy and testifies to me that God knows me and knows who I am. He has a plan for me and I can use prayer to communicate with him anytime I need to. Living the standards of the Church and the commandments that God has given us is the way to be happy in this life. I love my family and I'm so grateful that through the blessings of the temple I can be with them forever!

How I live my faith

I have chosen to serve a mission for the next year and a half. I have been called to the Ecuador Guayaquil South Mission and will be learning spanish at a training center in Mexico City. I have saved up money from when I was little and also worked 40-48 hrs a week this summer- so I can pay for my mission completely on my own.
