Hi I'm John Taylor

I'm a Virginia Richmond Missionary, Movie Lover and Mormon

About Me

I'm a Missionary serving in the Virginia Richmond Mission! Native to Utah, I packed up for two years and have been teaching the people of Virginia about the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. I have great family and friends back home who I love very much. I love the outdoors and Moab Utah is my favorite place in the world that God created. I love God and the Savior and am grateful for my life as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know my Father in Heaven loves me very much. That my Savior Jesus Christ died for me. That there is a prophet of God on the earth today and his name is Thomas S. Monson. I am a Mormon because like the prophet Joseph Smith, I prayed to know for myself if the things taught by the church were true. I read and studied for myself and gained knowledge for myself of these things. I encourage all to do the same. Simply ask our father, through the spirit you will know.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving a mission in Virginia! I go and teach people everyday about Christ and his Gospel restored on the earth today. I study the scriptures and words of the prophets daily and pray constantly for help and guidance. When I go home I plan to follow the council of church leaders and go to school, start an eternal family, and serve in any capacity I can to help others feel of Christ's love.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

John Taylor
Just like anything else you want to know is true in the world, it takes personal, effective study. Search the scriptures (the Bible, Book of Mormon, etc.). Pay attention to the feelings and thoughts that come as you study. Ultimately the best way to come to know of the truth of the church is to pray. Our Heavenly Father wants to give us answers and guidance. As you study and pray, ask our Father in Heaven if it is true and he WILL give you an answer. Show more Show less
