Hi I'm Nathan

I'm just a guy who likes to be creative and a bit childish sometimes. but what I truly am is ME!

About Me

I'm the one you usually find at the back of the group silently leading it along while directing the credit elsewhere. I grew up in a loving family with my 3 brothers. I was born and raised in this church. through out my life I have not really been the social 'hang out with friends' type. I more enjoy being in small groups. If you ask my friends they will tell you that i'm not the talkative type but when they need someone to talk to and just to be there, that I'm always the one they turn to first. Some also say that i am Childish because I'm always thinking of Fantasy and I love to watch Cartoons. but When it comes done to the line. I'm just Me. I can be serious when the time calls for it, but when i get the chance, I will roll down hills, pick up sticks and pretend they are swords and other childish things. But don't let that fool you. I'm really a kindhearted man. I'm one who you can just talk to about anything. but i'm not one who would start the talking. I'm a creative. Not really in one thing. I like to draw, Paint, Act, Technical, Really i'm just a Jack of all Trades. So if you need help in anything. Sewing, Cooking, Music, you can can't on me. That's enough about be. Truly I am ME!

Why I am a Mormon

I chose to be in this Church and be a Mormon because I have read, pondered, and prayed about it myself. I was born in the church but everyone needs to have a testimony for themselves. I came to have this testimony as I lived the teachings day by day and it came slowly came to me over time. and now i can say that I am truly a member of this church for myself and not because it's my 'Parents Church'.

How I live my faith

I try to live my Faith in everything that I do. In the way I start and end my days in pray. In the way I talk to my fellow men. I attend church every Sunday and have held many callings even in my youth. I try to study the scriptures daily and live by their teachings. At the Moment I live my Faith by serving the lord as a Missionary in the South Africa, Cape Town Mission. And I will continue to live my faith even when I go home.

Why are only some Mormons allowed into temples? Is there something secret going on in Mormon Temples? What goes on in Mormon Temples?

Nathan
Mormon Temples are an amazing place, you can see one almost anywhere you go. with over 100 temples world wide and more being worked on. But Temples are holy places, they are known as Houses of God, so not everyone can enter into them. Anyone can walk the temple grounds and visit Open Houses before dedication. But once a Temple is dedicated as a house of God, only worthy members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saint (known as the Mormons) can enter. Nothing that happens in the temple is completely secret. They where revealed to the ancient prophets, and to Modern Day prophets as well. Temple work is all about uniting families together for time and all eternity, and for learning of eternal truths. I suggest visiting a temple near you if it is possible, just to feel the spirit that is around the place. Just being near Temples people find peace of mind and security. People work hard to enter into the temples, they make sure their lives are worthy enough to be close to God and to gain His eternal truths. Show more Show less
