Hi I'm Tyrell

I grew up in Orem, Utah. I am a ballroom dancer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am Tyrell. I am a ballroom dancer since mid September 2012. I like hanging out with my friends and spending time with my friends and helping others with things that are happening in their lives. I draw from time to time and love to read books, preferably sci-fi, action, or fantasy books. One of my favorite books is Inferno, part of the Robert Langdon series written by Dan Brown. I am interested in pursuing a career path in psychology, engineering, and ballroom. I currently am signed up for college but, will not be attending until I return from my mission. I was recently called to serve in the Tokyo, Japan mission and depart for the MTC on November 20th and leave for Japan on the 20th of January 2014. I am the oldest of 4 children and the first on my mother's side to choose to serve a mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church so I have no conversion story but, that doesn't change why I am a Mormon. I still believe in this church which all my heart and know that it is true. I love this church and know it to be true. The spirit that I have seen in people who are a part of this church is simply wonderful and the goodness that comes from this church. I have seen others who have not heard the gospel and when they have chosen to learn of it they have a mighty change if heart and they show more happiness in their lives and kindness. That is a little about why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I have been called to leadership positions throughout my youth. I was usually a 1st counselor or the president of my age category that I was in. I help my ward with the sacrament in either blessing or passing the sacrament. When I was in high school I was called to be a special needs youth councilor which means that I was to go to a youth night on an assigned night every week to go and help people with special needs like downs syndrome, epilepsy, and disabilities of that nature. All of the youth councilors were assigned a special needs participants and we would stick with them throughout our entire calling. We would call one another each others buddy. That was one of my favorite callings just to be able to spend time will special needs people and to learn from them as well as help them.
