Hi I'm Connie

I grew up in Arizona, married and now I live in Georgia. And I am a Mormon!

About Me

I'm a Mom of six children, I have 8 grand children and one great grand child. I've spent much of my life raising my children and helping my husband with his construction business. I enjoy learning and living the gospel. I'm currently getting ready to serve a mission in Albuquerque New Mexico. My life is pretty good, when I live the gospel it keeps me close to God, and the spirit helps me to know what to do while I am here in this life. I hope to finish my education when I return from my mission in 23 months. I'm hoping to get a degree in Forensic Science.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know the church is true. The spirit of God has testified this to me. I have been sanctified by the Holy Ghost and cleansed from all my sins through this same spirit. I am so blessed to have received the blessings of knowing God is real, Jesus is the Christ and redeemer of the world. And that Joseph Smith is a Prophet of God. I know that Thomas S. Monson is our prophet today and that he helps lead this great work that the Lord has sent us here to do. Wow! What a wonderful feeling it is to know that you are apart of this great work of preparing the people for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. Wow!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by reading the scriptures, I read 10 chapters a day. It seems like a lot of pages, but it doesn't take long to read. I read 5 chapters in the morning and 5 at night before I go to bed at night. I try to fast often and pray morning and night. I avoid things that are unhealthy, like Television and R rated movies. I attend my church meetings regularly. I really miss church when I don't go for some reason or another. I presently serve in primary. I enjoy watching the children learn about our heavenly Father. They are so close to the spirit. Primary is the heart beat of the church. The spirit is very strong in primary.
