Hi I'm ENA

I grew up in the Netherlands and immigrated to America. I am a Mormon

About Me

I am in my 70's and live on the Snake River in Idaho. I was raised in the Netherlands and came to this country at age 11. My parents were atheist but good people and we immigrated to California in 1954. While in high school there I started dating a Mormon boy. I really liked him so when his friends said he would never marry me because he is a Mormon. I said: "What is a Mormon". The rest is history. The missionaries taught me the gospel and about the Mormon church. I prayed to know if it was true and received a sure witness from the Holy Ghost that it was and have been an active Mormon ever since.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because after much study and prayer I received a definite answer that it is true and could not, nor dare not deny it. I have read the Book of Mormon over 60 times and know it to be the Word of God and it's message and stories help me every day. It has helped me immensely in raising our 5 sons and cannot imagine what my life would be like without the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon).

How I live my faith

Because I know, as sure as I know I am breathing right now, that my savior Jesus Christ suffered for me more than I will ever understand so that I can come back and live with Him and my Heavenly Father again, I want to share that message with the world and do all I can to be like Him. I have been a missionary twice already with my husband and we are about to go on another mission in about a month to Atlanta, Georgia. We have worked all together about 2 1/2 years in the Idaho Falls temple and are looking forward to now to being missionaries again. I try to start each day out with prayer and scripture reading for this helps me so much to stay close to my Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ. I feel like they are with me each day and that the Holy Ghost guides and helps me in ALL I do. I feel like I am never alone and that I can meet each challenge in life because I KNOW they will help me. I also know that every trial and hardship that I have is for my good as it brings me closer to Them and helps me to become more like my Savior.
