Hi I'm Pete

I grew up all across the United States of America and I have traveled around the world. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I graduated from the University of Arizona. Go Wildcats! I have 5 children and 3 grandchildren. I enjoy working on cars and have survived thyroid cancer and 5 kids.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents joined the LDS church when I was a kid. We were pioneers in our family as we learned the gospel and put it into practice. I recently visited with an aunt and as we were talking about kids, cousins, and the years that have passed I said "My family was lucky to have had good kids" and she replied that "it was not luck... You are doing things right!" I attribute that to the gospel principles that we learned early and applied in our lives.

How I live my faith

I have served in many leadership positions inside the LDS church as well as in the community. I was the Mayor Pro-Tem of our little town and served on the Town Council for 4 years. I was also the Town Treasurer. I have served in the Boy Scouts of America as a Scout Master up to serving at the District level as the District Advancement Chairman.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

Pete
I have learned that increasing faith in Jesus Christ requires a few simple steps. First you must learn of Christ and be obedient to the things you learn. Christ is the best example as he was humble, prayed, and did the will of the father. If we are humble and are willing to yield to our will to that of the Father's we will pray to see if the things we learn are true. We will then act on that knowledge and after the test of our faith we will receive the blessings that come from being obedient to that law or principal. Show more Show less
