Hi I'm Maggie

I grew up in Utah and currently live in Virginia. I'm a nurse, a wife and a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a new nurse working at a community hospital in oncology. I have been married for two years and love spending time with my husband. I enjoy being with family, crafting, baking, playing games, hiking and traveling.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe in the teachings of the church. I have felt the Spirit testify to me that the doctrines within the church are true. My activity within the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints brings me happiness and peace, and helps me find purpose and meaning in my life.

How I live my faith

I strive to live my faith by keeping God apart of my daily life. Beginning and ending my day in prayer helps me to involve Him in the things I do and think. Seeking opportunities to reflect and read in the scriptures allows me to gain perspective and feel close to God. Reading about Jesus Christ and the life He led and service He rendered helps me to strengthen my faith and resolve to follow His example. Christ's ministry on this earth centered on serving others. I believe that we can express our faith in Jesus Christ through service to others. I currently have the opportunity to serve the youth in the church, ages 12-14. My husband and I teach them every Sunday for about 45 minutes. We have the opportunity to share our faith with them as we work to help them discover what they believe.
