Hi I'm Amy

I live to laugh. I laugh to live. I'm a M O R M O N.

About Me

I love to laugh. I grew up in Hawaii, Kentucky, and Colorado before finally settling down in beautiful Northern Utah. I love where I live. There's no place in this crazy world that I would rather be. Photography is the one thing in my life that allows me to be myself. I love anything and everything related to photography. I'm also very passionate about music, my friends, my family, and anything that puts a smile on my face.

Why I am a Mormon

There is no doubt in my mind that everyone wants to be happy in this lifetime. Happiness is far more desirable than sadness and depression. As I look back to experiences in my life, I see now that the happy and joyous times came primarily from my righteous decisions to follow the teachings of the LDS church. So why am I Mormon? Because it's not worth it for me to be depressed. It's not worth it for me to suffer things unnecessarily. It's not worth it for me to feel uneasy. I am a Mormon because being a Mormon makes me feel happy. Being a Mormon makes me feel comfort and love. Being a Mormon makes me feel wanted and worth something. That is why I am, and forever will be, a Mormon.

How I live my faith

The LDS church has always been a priority in my life. My parents and extended family have always made it clear that it should always be that way, and the day that I found that out for myself was the day that changed my life. I can honestly say that my life has been eternally blessed because of the active choices I've made to have the Gospel in my life every single day.
