Hi I'm Lisiate

From Reno, NV. Spent 3 1/2 years in the Islands of Tonga schooling at Liahona LDS Highschool. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm half tongan. Ive lived in the Kingdom of Tonga in the village of Fua'amotu. I will serve a mission to Antofagasta, Chile.

Why I am a Mormon

I was fortunate to be born into this church. Having been raised by my paternal grandparents, who are both strong members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am so grateful for being a part of this everlasting gospel and the fact that it teaches of an ETERNAL plan of happiness. A plan, that if followed righteously and the commandments that are included are kept, that will result in our return to our Heavenly Father in glory and being together with our families forever. I am also very fortunate to be a priesthood holder, as i have seen many blessing that come from holding such a power faithfully and righteously. i admit ive made my mistakes, being young and headstrong. I did have my fun going out to parties and rolling around town late at night, but i never felt true joy or happiness. I've only been able to feel this happiness by following the teachings of Christ and not being selfish with my desires. I'm happier knowing my grandparents arent worried about me and that I can make people happy by being humble and friendly and i also know i wont get into any trouble at all if im doing good. There are also many blessing that the Lord has promised for being a faithful and being as honest as i can

How I live my faith

I'm currently preparing to go on a mission and ive gone on splits with missionaries in my home ward to learn how they teach and to also teach a little of my own and also visit inactive members in my ward. I have participated in a couple service projects such as collecting over 100 tons of clothes to donate and helped out at a free cafeteria for the homeless.
