Hi I'm Tucker

I am a blue collar country boy. I really like to rodeo and play a lot of sports. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I have been riding horses ever since I could walk. I have been training and showing horses for a few years now i.e. reigning, cutting, roping. Rodeo is something that I really like. I am a healer and calf roper. Sports has always played a big part of my life. I don't know if I am going to play college football yet. Utah State would be my college of choice to go through their veterinary program. I love to spend time with my family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because this is the true church of Jesus Christ. Even if you are born into the church you need to have a personal conversion. When I was younger I found myself just going through the motions of the religion. I wasn't fully invested yet. So I decided that I was going to test things a little. People always said that they knew that the church was true because the Book of Mormon was true. So I read it, pondered, and prayed about if the book was true. I got an answer to that prayer. I am a child of God and this is where I need to be. I know that Joseph Smith is a prophet of God and that we have a living prophet on the earth today. I have felt the love of Jesus Christ in my life. All of my beliefs have been from myself coming to the knowlege that it is right. And this has made me the person that I am today.

How I live my faith

As of now I am serving an LDS mission in Winnipeg Canada. I really enjoy helping other people and sharing Christ's teachings with others. Having that firm belief and being obedient to all of God's commandments has helped me tremendously. Not just as a missionary, but for myself as a person.

Why don’t Mormons drink coffee, tea, or alcohol? What is the Mormon Church’s law of health and proper diet?

Our bodies are not really ours. It is a gift from our Heavenly Father. He has asked that we do not put these harmful and addictive substances into our bodies. They are just not healthy, and I want to run and not be weary. Show more Show less

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Mormons help everyone. We are all spirit brothers and sisters, so why not give everyone a hand. The church has a humanitarian program that helps out all over the world. Mormon Helping Hands is sometime the first aid to a lot of disasters. It doesn't matter who is in need of help, we should all be willing to help Show more Show less
