Hi I'm Bethanie

I grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah. I love my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have lived in the same house my entire life and I love it. I was home-schooled and taught by my mother until I was 12 and started Jr. High School. Being at home for my whole childhood helped me and my siblings to grow really close. My family is very important to me and has always been there for me. I was on the swim and water polo teams in High school, I teach swimming lessons, I lifeguard, I play the piano, I am preparing to serve a mission, and I love living the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know it is true. I have been a member my entire life but I didn't know it was true until I was about 14 when I started recognizing the miracle that it is in my life. I was going through a hard time in school and was able to get through because of the gospel. I love the unity that I feel in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It is a unity that I have never felt anywhere else. I am also grateful to the Church for its message about families. I had a younger brother pass away and I know that I will be able to see him again if I continue to live the gospel the best way I know how. I am not a perfect person I make mistakes, I repent, and I continue on. Living the gospel is not always the easiest thing to do, but I know that it is the best thing that you can do for your life. Christ is real and he cares. I have felt his love in my life so many different times, and I know that he is waiting with open arms to receive anyone who is ready to go into them.

How I live my faith

I have been attending my singles ward in which I play the piano to accompany the choir, but have to put that on hold to go out and serve a full-time mission. I am always willing to do whatever I am asked to do.
