Hi I'm Vince

Despite the weather England is my home and compliance in financial services is my work. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a father of three sons one of whom is now a father too - watching him and his wife takes me back to our early days of parenthood. Struggling to work out what a baby wants and keep on top of everything else. I've been a Beaver Scout leader and have been involved in setting up a series of projects between my now former employer and a local school - youngsters need good role models and opportunities to see things from different perspectives. Now that the children have all left home I have re-discovered my love of cycling - the British countryside is beautiful.

Why I am a Mormon

I view life as a jigsaw puzzle - putting the little bits together to make sense of the bigger picture. Over the years that I have been a Mormon the knowledge I have gained has filled in a number of the gaps and I am confident that the remaining pieces will emerge when I am ready to understand how they fit. As part of that I know that Christ lives and answers prayers - He will help me when I let him. Mormonism creates the ideal environment to learn and develop.

How I live my faith

We attend church in Weston Super Mare where I lead discussions in one of the Sunday meetings and also act as a liaison between another unit of the Church and the local leaders. I am also able to visit the homes of some assigned local families to see how they are and offer any help needed.
