Hi I'm Cassidy

I am deaf and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest child of 11 siblings in my family. I am a college student who is going on an American Sign Language mission!! I am SUPER excited! Even though I was born deaf, I love music. I enjoy playing the piano and sing. I also love sports and love to hang out with my favorite people.

Why I am a Mormon

Throughout my life, I didn't really see the whole picture of what it is like to have the gospel in my life, I couldn't understand some things and wasn't sure if the Latter-Day Saints church was true. But for some reason, there was something deep inside me that I couldn't let go and so I hang on. I waited and then one summer, something happened to me--- I started to see things clearly and I don't know how to explain it. I can see the whole picture now of what it is like to live my life through His gospel. The picture was so clear that I started to cry. I cried because I was so grateful for the warm feeling that I felt. I haven't felt this beautiful feeling in such a long time and I was so grateful for that. I really am. With a strong feeling like this, I just suddenly knew that the this church is true.

How I live my faith

I have learned this the hard way but whenever I am discouraged or depressed about something in my life, the best medicine is to go find someone who need help. It was hard for me at first, but once I start caring about someone else than myself then I became happy. I felt good about myself. I live my faith by serving and caring about other people.
