Hi I'm Hyrum

I grew up in Sandy, Utah as the youngest kid in a family of seven. I love boating and the snow. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Being the youngest of seven children I know what it takes to fend for myself. However, it has also given me the ability to love the idea of a family. It really is a sacred thing that Heavenly Father has created for his children. Growing up in Utah I love the outdoors. I love wakeboarding, wakesurfing, snowboarding, and basically anything having to do with the wild. I got called to serve a mission in the California, Oakland/San Francisco Mission speaking in the Fijian language! I report soon and will be serving there until October of 2015. I love technology. I hate Apple. I refuse to use Apple products and remain one of the few. I believe Microsoft makes far superior products that don't just act as toys but are real devices that help bring productivity. I love Mastercraft boats. I worked for 2 years at the Utah Watersports dealership driving forklifts, detailing, and assisting whoever needed the help. I love Jesus Christ. He atoned for our sins and is our eternal brother and savior. I love Heavenly Father. He gave us life, will give us more life, and blesses our lives everyday. I love the Holy Ghost. He gives us knowledge between good and evil and helps us through the tough times in our lives.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a very blessed individual. I was born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints. Growing up my parents have taught me the ways of God and how to really rely on Him for our ultimate happiness. The gospel of Jesus Christ is that of love, compassion, and charity. We should never do something that we wouldn't do if Jesus was standing with us. The Church teaches us to love each other and to reach out to those in need. I know that the gospel of Jesus Christ is true. I know that he has atoned for our sins and we can truly be forgiven for our sins as long as we humble ourselves and come to Christ. I know we can live with him again. Tomorrow the sun will rise and we will be embraced by our Lord and Savior. Our families will be together forever. We can truly become like Heavenly Father when we repent. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen

How I live my faith

I recently got called to serve in the California, San Francisco/Oakland Mission speaking in the Fijian language. I will serve for a period of two years. Before this calling, however, I have served in many offices like being the 1st assistant in the young men's quorums, serving in special needs mutual, which is an opportunity to serve the special needs in the community by doing activities and being their friend, and being a worker in the Draper, Utah Temple in the baptistery.
