Hi I'm Andrew Rummens

I've grown up in California and Utah, I run track, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am a junior at Woods Cross High School. I run cross country and track for the Wildcats and I like to hang out with friends. I like to watch baseball and basketball with friends and following our favorite sport teams. I was born in Sandy, Utah but moved to Northern California soon after. I spent eight years up near the Bay Area before moving down to Glendora, a small suburb near Los Angeles. I spent another 7 years down there and spent my 9th grade year at Glendora High School before moving to North Salt Lake, Utah. It was a hard transition but I love it up here now and I love the friends I have made

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because of my parents and the good influence they have had on my life. Both of my parents served missions in Australia, so the spirit they have is constant in the home. I love being able to hear missionary stories from them and having their influence on me help me want to be a missionary myself.

How I live my faith

I am a member of the Woodbriar Ward in the North Salt Lake Stake, and I love my ward! It is fun learning about the gospel with some of my best friends and learning about how to be like Christ. I attend Seminary during my free period at Woods Cross, and I love my teachers. I try to be the best example I can be to my friends as I prepare to go on my mission. I want to go on my mission straight after my senior year of high school, so I need to begin my preparations now. I love the church and want to spread what I know to the world.
