Hi I'm Brittnee

I grew up in Maine. Graduated college. I love to travel. I love life. And I'm a Mormon

About Me

My name is Brittnee. I grew up in Maine where I became a member of the church of Jesus Christ of latter-day saints. After high school I went to college where I majored in health science with an emphasis in public health and a minor in microbiology. My dream is to become an epidemiologist (study of diseases) and work for the centers for disease control and prevention. I love singing and I love to play ultimate frisbee and just be active. I'm a hard worker, especially when I'm passionate for something. My ultimate goal in life is to make a difference in some ones life, give back that way people so generously helped me as I was growing up and continue to help me now. I am a happy person, there is so much for me to rejoice about. I have a deep passion for this gospel, it's where I've learned who I am and where I'm going in life. My life is 1,000 times better then it was when I wasn't a member and it's better then what it would be if I wasn't a member. There are not many things I'm completely passionate about, but this is on the top of my list. I was called as the Relief Society Secretary in my ward almost a year ago. While it's had it's challenges I've learned to love the women I serve so much more and my appreciation for the Relief Society has grown. The Relief Society is truly an inspired organization for women. I love my Heavenly Father with all my heart, might, mind and strength. He is my strength and I know that my Heavenly Father loves me.

Why I am a Mormon

I haven't always been a member, I didn't know anything of church or God until I was 10 years old and the missionaries came knocking on my door. I took the discussions and was baptized. I stay a member because of the hope and the love that I receive from it. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me and wants the best for me. I know with him all things are possible and that he has a plan for me that is so much better then what I have for myself. I am truly happy in this church. It also gives me hope, I can hope and have faith. When I mess up it's not the end, there is repentance. I can look forward and hope for the future ahead. I continue to follow the gospel because I have a testimony. A firm testimony of the truthfulness of this gospel that I could never deny. I know that it's true with all my heart, never doubting. I continue to follow the gospel because of how my life has changed since I was baptized. I like the person I am now because if it. I love this gospel and I love my Savior, that is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by service and example. we are in the service of our Lord when we serve those around us. I love service and have been doing it for as long as I remember. I love helping others and making them happy. We are all children of God and the best way to become more like my savior is to do what he spent his live doing, service. I share my testimony when I get a chance, and almost always during testimony meeting. I live my faith by example, doing what God would have me do.
