Hi I'm Laurel Albrecht

I'm a Cali girl, I'm the youngest of 10, I'm athletic, I'm an Aunt, I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I grew up in Southern California but moved to Washington my freshman year of high school, however I'll always considered myself a true Cali girl! I'm the youngest of 10 and have 13 nieces and nephews. I go to BYU-Idaho and study Exercise Physiology. I've always enjoyed playing sports and working out. I will be serving in the New Mexico, Albuquerque Mission and can't wait to get my tan back, eat Mexican food, live in teepees and hang with Indians!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a very active mormon family. Attending church every Sunday became habit as well as going to church activities and seminary. Growing up, I would always rely on the testimonies of those in my ward or my leaders. In high school I realized I needed to know for myself that this church is true. After gaining that knowledge and attending my freshman year in college, I got the desire to serve a mission. I look forward to meeting the people in New Mexico and sharing the gospel with everyone I meet. I can't wait to represent the Lord as a minister of the restored gospel and represent Jesus Christ as His ambassador. Serving a mission was never in my future, but ever since I decided to serve and had a strong desire, I can't wait to teach the people in New Mexico why the gospel is so special to me and hopefully be a light and example unto them. Without a doubt, I know this church is true, that Joseph Smith restored the Gospel upon the earth, and that we have apostles and prophets called of God. After hearing stories of miracles happening because of one's faith and obedience to following God's commandments, I don't know how I couldn't be mormon and ever doubt the things I know to be true. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the most true church on the earth today!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing simple things each day that will strengthen my testimony and relationship with my Heavenly Father. I try my best to be an example to those around me so they will see in me the light of Christ and have a desire to follow me as I follow Him. I love to attend the temple and feel of God's love for me. I live my faith by choosing to have complete trust in God even when its hard.
