Hi I'm Lindsey

I was born and raised in Utah and love the outdoors. I have been called to serve as a missionary for the church in Bolivia.

About Me

My name is Lindsey Williams. I am the oldest of four kids and live in Utah. I have been called to serve a mission in Bolivia, and I am so excited to share the truth of the gospel with the wonderful people there. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, running, playing sports. I love reading the Book of Mormon, and I know that it is the word of God. I have attended one semester at BYU-Idaho, and I hope to get a degree in Elementary Education.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been taught the principles and commandments of the church my whole life, and I have received a testimony that these things are true and here for our benefit. Throughout my life, as I've read the Book of Mormon everyday, my testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel has been strengthened more than I would have ever hoped. When I listen to the words of prophets and apostles I feel the Spirit testifying that their words are true, and I can truly feel the love Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ have for me and each of us individually. I'm grateful for the Atonement and Resurrection of Jesus Christ, which makes it possible for us to repent and return to live with him and Heavenly Father eternally. When I am choosing the right and doing the things I know I should be doing, I feel so much happier and at peace. The gospel has changed my life in so many good ways, and as I continue to study and live it, I have seen so many blessings come into my life. I'm grateful for the gospel and the leaders we have within this church. I know that when we follow the word of Christ and live his gospel, we will be filled with his love and be able to return to his presence and live with him eternally.

How I live my faith

I think that the best way to show others my faith and testimony is to always be a good example. People notice when we are living the gospel and it can open doors to sharing it with those around us. I am about to become a full-time missionary where I will have the great opportunity to spend the next 18 months teaching people about the gospel and showing them how they can come unto Christ and feel of his love.
