Hi I'm Mac

I live in Southern Utah, I am an entrepreneur, I have 4 kids with one on the way and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love the outdoors and doing almost anything which is outside. I really enjoy mountain biking, running and hiking. I occasionally compete in running and mountain bike endurance races. I enjoy pushing myself physically and mentally. My family is everything to me. I have two boys and two girls with one on the way. We love spending time in the mountains, watching movies, making homemade salsa and being with one another. I am an entrepreneur and enjoy being involved in business. I really enjoy being involved with the startup phases of new business.

Why I am a Mormon

I know the gospel of Jesus Christ is true. I didn't always live the gospel, especially when I was growing up. The first time I read the Book of Mormon was when I was 18 years old. As I read the words I noticed deep change from within. My behavior changed, my desires changed and for the first time I had a desire to serve God and be more like Christ. It was change that I recognized and was surprised by. I knew the Book of Mormon was true by how it affected my life. The words of Christ changed my life and I am forever a changed person. Through that and other experiences in life I have come to know the love of God and the changing power of the atonement of Jesus Christ. I know he is real and that we will be resurrected and can be forgiven through the grace of Christ if we follow him.

How I live my faith

I struggle, but I really do try to follow our Savior and be a better disciple. I love the gospel of Jesus Christ and how it can affect every aspect of our lives. I have the opportunity to work with the youth of our church, in particular the boys ages 12-18. I work with others like my self to help teach and train these young men to become the men that the Lord would want them to be. One of my favorite things to do is to teach the missionary preparation classes. I get to work with the boys as they prepare to serve as a full-time mission. My favorite thing to see is how the boys progress and grow over the short time we get to work with them.
