Hi I'm Brooke

I'm into music. I'm a swimmer. I love reading and writing. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've been a member all my life. I love to read, mainly fantasy and science fiction. Writing is also something I'm trying to improve on. I play the piano and trombone. I'm a swimmer and a shot putter. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I find learning new languages fun.

Why I am a Mormon

When I read the Book of Mormon, I'm filled with peace. Everything starts to make sense. If I'm going through a trial, the Lord helps me find answers. I've had my doubts, but they've always been removed after I pray or read the scriptures. All the teachings and guidelines of the church make sense to me, and I know why they're there.

How I live my faith

I attend church and Young Women's activities every week. I help plan the activities since I'm in the presidency. I'm one of the few members at my school, so I try to set a good example.

Why don’t Mormons drink coffee, tea, or alcohol? What is the Mormon Church’s law of health and proper diet?

We don't drink those things because they're harmful to our bodies. They cause you to make bad choices that you'd regret later. They take control of your life. Caffeine, like in pop, can be drank, but in small amounts. The Word of Wisdom says to only take into our body what would help it, not hurt it. Exercise is also part of it. Show more Show less
