Hi I'm Chris Andrus

I grew up in Santa Clara, UT. I'm a Teacher. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love teaching high school technology. I work at a performing arts high school. I do graphic design, photography and web development. I love college football. I am married and do foster care.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon family, but it was not until I went on a 2 year Mormon mission to the Philippines that I gained my own testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I had the opportunity to serve the people of the Philippines and share the gospel with them.

How I live my faith

My callings in the church is currently are Cub Scout Den Leader for the Webelos group with my wife and Elders Quorum Instructor in the Elders quorum. We love doing scouts and helping the boys work through merit badges. I am grateful to be able to teach in the quorum and share my experiences with my friends and see them grow through the gospel of Jesus Christ. I grew up doing the scouting program and enjoy helping the boys grow into good citizens and leaders for the community.

What is done with the tithing that Mormons pay?

Chris Andrus
Tithing is used for a number of positive causes in the church. The building of temples and regular meetinghouses for worship, community gatherings and social events. The printing of church materials such as the Book of Mormon and church magazines that help spread the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Tithing is used to help in family history research and genealogy work. Helping to fund the missionary program through the world. Show more Show less
