Hi I'm Kailin Johnson

I grew up in Woodbridge, Virginia. I have climbed Mt. Kiliminjaro. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 18 years old, and I moved across the country to go to school at Weber State University, because I knew that was what God wanted me to do. I graduated High School in June 2013, and the day after graduation, I was on a plane to start the climb to the top of Mt. Kiliminjaro. It was the most amazing thing to see another country with God's creations!

Why I am a Mormon

The missionaries knocked on my grandparents door, almost 40 years ago, when they were stationed in Germany. They had the courage and inspiration to answer that door and let the gospel enter their lives and the lives of their children and for many generations to come. They knew that this church was true, and through their never ending Faith in God and his beloved son, Jesus Christ, I know that this church is true. I have found it to be true through their examples and through my own study of the scriptures and through fervent prayer. I have felt that warm, burning feeling, of the Holy Ghost, I know that God and his Son live, we are never alone.

How I live my faith

I live my Faith by, trying to be all that God and his Son want me to be. I am currently in a Young Single Adult ward, and I love to be with all the people that are my age that actually want to be there because they want to, not because they have to. It is the most amazing thing, going to church is showing your Faith in itself.
