Hi I'm Brent Johnson

I was raised a Mormon. I work in supply chain. I have 4 children and 15 grandchildren. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Ogden, Utah in a great family. I went on an LDS mission to Mexico. I have been married to a wonderful person for almost 40 years. We have 4 children and 15 grandchildren. Our family is a very integral part of our life. I went to business school and got an MBA. After working for several companies I gained a passion for Supply Chain Management and have been a senior manager for 3 different companies in this field. Besides our family, my wife and I enjoy traveling, especially to Latin America. I enjoy golfing. I love being around people. People energize me. I am a happy person with a very positive outlook on almost everything. I am hyper active and always need to be doing something. As a result I don't have much patience for reading long books, taking naps or just relaxing. But I get alot done each day.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a Mormon and raised by very good parents. I come from multi-generational families of Mormons who left their homes in Europe and the UK to come to American and Utah because of their conversion to the Church. I had to learn to believe for myself the gospel of Jesus Christ and that it is found in it's fullness within the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I've always had great faith. I served an LDS mission in Mexico when I was 19. I married a very strong and wonderful woman who also had great faith. I have felt the spirit so many times in my life tell me things that I could not have known on my own. I have seen the gospel change peoples lives. I have seen miracles and know that Heavenly Father listens to and answers my prayers. I have seen how the Church has been a huge influence on my children and now their children. I believe and because I believe, I obey. I'm not perfect but I try very hard to be obedient to the commandments of God, live a clean life and try to be a better person every day.

How I live my faith

I have been very active in the Mormon church all my life. I have been a teacher, leader of youth, leader of young adults, church leader and local missionary leader. I currently help the men's organization of our local church to be more self-reliant and strong in their lives and in their beliefs. I help organize service projects and activities. I supervise men who are assigned to visit other families in our church and report back to our local leaders needs of the families that we oversee. We care about all families in our neighborhoods regardless if they are members of our faith or not. I enjoy teaching the gospel in any setting.
