Hi I'm Jeff

I love Harley Davidson Motorcycles. I am a Soldier in the US Army. I love my family. I am a Mormon.

About Me

Family is the most important part of my life. I was sent here to provide all things for my family: financial, educational, emotional, spiritual...I take that very seriously. I am an Officer in the US Army and have learned the value of sacrifice while I have spent time away from my family twice on deployments to Iraq. In order to ensure that I can provide all things when my family needs it, I do take time for myself enjoying hobbies of motorcycle riding, car driving, and automotive repair on my own sports cars and for anyone else who needs a hand. Church is a big part of my life - serving to keep things running at church and helping those around me gives me purpose and helps me to feel like I am contributing to the Lord's work here on Earth.

Why I am a Mormon

The unique thing about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is that we all must receive our own confirmation from God that this is where he wants us. I was born into a family that was active in our Faith but had to come to the knowledge of the truthfulness of the Gospel on my own. After reading the Book of Mormon and pondering the teachings that it contains, I asked God in the name of Jesus Christ if the book was true and if Joseph Smith, who translated it from an ancient language, was a true prophet. The Holy Spirit manifested to me through a feeling of profound peace and reassurance that the book and the prophet are both true. The Book of Mormon is the word of God and accompanies the Bible in testifying and witnessing of the Savior Jesus Christ. Joseph Smith was a true prophet and restored the true Church of Jesus Christ in these last days under His direction. I know this is the True Church of Christ on the Earth today and invite anyone looking for Christ to ask God for themselves - He will answer you and you will know!

How I live my faith

I have the privilege of serving in the leadership of our Ward as a counselor to our Bishop. It is a great opportunity to serve all of the different organizations of our Ward while sacrificing our time and effort with each other. I believe that obeying the commandments that the Lord gave to us is the only way to reach happiness in this life - knowing you are doing what your are supposed to brings peace and closeness with God and Jesus Christ. We can't always measure up and I know that Jesus Christ suffered for our sins and gave us the chance to repent when we believe in Him and are willing to leave our sins behind. If we put our trust in the Savior and do our best in everything, He fills in the gaps and helps us to grow and serve our brothers and sisters around us.
