Hi I'm Dan

I'm a soldier, I'm a proud father, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I recently finished college, and am still searching for long-time employment in law enforcement. I am a proud father. I like to camp, hike and in general be outdoors. I love to play sports, and am probably a little too competitive. I am in the Army National Guard, and love it! I love this country, and am glad that I can give something back.

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I was born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I struggled when I was younger. I finally got serious and wanted to know the truth about the church when I was in my late teens. I prayed, read the Book of Mormon, and prayed some more. Through all of that I felt my Father in Heaven's love for me, and the power of the Redemption of Christ. I also received a witness that I can never refute that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the Lord's church.

How I live my faith

I live my faith daily. I visit members of our congregation and share with them spiritual messages as part of our hometeaching program. I have a responsibility to teach and train the adult men in our congregation. I love being able to serve and give back to my community when I have been so richly blessed in so many ways. The most important way that I live my faith, though, is at home with my family. We pray together, read scriptures together, and talk about Christ together as a family.
