Hi I'm Kathy Taylor

I am a retired elementary school teacher. I have lived in Massachusetts and Utah. I am a mother and grandmother.

About Me

I am a retired elementary school educator. My entire teaching career was in fourth grade--a marvelous age. I am the mother of four adult children and grandmother of nine active youngsters. My interests include cooking, looking at cookbooks and cooking blogs, reading mysteries, and planning activities with my family and grandchildren. I enjoy watching sporting events, especially basketball and football.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always felt peace from living gospel principles. Gospel principles give direction and purpose to my life. I have a legacy of membership in the Mormon faith. This includes ancestors who immigrated to the United States from Iceland and Denmark. I had opportunities in my youth to strengthen my testimony as my family lived in the Boston area where the Mormon faith was not the predominant religion. I was put in situations where I had to examine my beliefs and declare my commitment to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I have served in the Church's women's organization for many years. I enjoy visiting with women and their families and providing service and support. My husband and I are leaving our home to serve a mission in Atlanta Georgia. I will be sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with others and strengthening member's faith through our contacts.
