Hi I'm Jeremy

I'm grateful to be a 4th generation Mormon. I served an LDS mission in Scotland, where my ancestors joined the church.

About Me

I've known my wife since we were both about 12 years old growing up in Price, Utah. It just took about 10 years for me to talk her into going on a date. After being sealed in the temple in 2001, we lived in Lincoln, Nebraska while I attended law school at the University of Nebraska. In 2006 we moved back to Utah to be closer to our families. We currently live in Provo, Utah where I have my own law practice. We now have three children that each bring their own personalities and blessings to our family.

Why I am a Mormon

While on my mission in Scotland it kind of bugged me when people I met would say "So you're a Mormon because of your mom and dad, right?" My answer to that is yes and no. Of course my parents had a huge impact on me being a member of the church. However, I am a member of the church because of my own decision and based on my own testimony. No, I have not seen any angels or visions, but the Spirit has testified to me of its truth and has given me experiences which I cannot deny. I know that God lives and that Jesus Christ is the savior of the world. It is only through Him that we can return to our heavenly home.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by participating in church activities and lessons. I am currently the 2nd counselor in the Bishopric in our ward (meaning I am one of two counselors that works with the Bishop).
