Hi I'm Jordan

I grew up in several different states. I'm an Eagle Scout, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 19 years old and also a twin. I like to go to camping and being in the outdoors. I've completed two fifty mile hikes, and I go snowboarding when I can. I like hanging out with friends watching movies and playing games. In my spare time I read books, go out on hikes or walks or even just play with my dogs.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of this Church, because it has helped better my life. With growing up in the church I was taught morals and standards that I should keep, that improved my life especially when I followed them. I love this gospel and the happiness that it brings in my life and others. I've attended a few baptism of friends and families that have been baptized while growing up in the church, and also to those that converted to the church and were baptized. The experience was always the same as they were baptized. There was a happiness, and a love that was shared by everyone in attendance as well as from the person who was baptized. I know that this is the true church of the Savior Jesus Christ. That it has been restored to it's fullness through the Lords' hands. That Joseph Smith did see Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father in the sacred grove and that through that experience, that Joseph Smith brought about the restored gospel. I know that the Book of Mormon is the true word of God. That as we read through its' teachings, and apply those teachings to our lives and follow them with faith, that we will be eternally blessed. I have a deep love for the Savior. I am grateful for his sacrifice in the Garden of Gethsemane. I know that he atoned for all the sins of the world, and for everyone of us individually. That through the steps of repentance that we can be forgiven of anything we have done. I have felt the joy, and love of being cleansed through his mercy. I love the Lord with all my heart, and I love this gospel.

How I live my faith

I live my faith with keeping the lord in my heart everyday and minute of my life. I perform service as often as I can to those in need. Helping them move, or cleaning up their yard, or manual labor of a sort. I've had the chance to be called as a teacher to teach the 12-13 year old class in church and I loved every week of it. I was also called to teach the Doctrine and Covenants: Church history class in a small branch in Skagway, Alaska. It was a new change and difficult at times to teach but relying on the lord everything worked out. I life my faith in life, by always trying to be an example to others. I continue to show my faith as i prepare to go serve a mission for the lord.
