Hi I'm Rayven

I am from Garden Grove, California. I love to write poems. I'm a missionary and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Talofa! I am the oldest of 5 with 2 brothers and 2 sisters. My family originated from the islands of Samoa and are strong in the gospel of Jesus Christ. This gospel is a blessing from heaven, it's linked my family for eternity and it doesn't get better than that! And can I just say...I love my Samoan heritage! Everything about the culture is exciting and fun! I grew up being around a lot of family(go figure) and I love them with all my heart. We roll deep sometimes! I am currently serving thee best mission of my life in the Oklahoma Tulsa Mission and have a brother serving in El Salvador San Salvador. I love anything with music and with a ball - I may not be able to play some sports well but I can get the gist of it. Writing poems is a gift and very therapeutic, gotta love it :)

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I am a Mormon because this gospel has never failed me. It's teachings both modern and from the past have guided me to become the young woman that I am today. Because of this restored gospel, I have been eternally sealed to my family that I am able to be with them again after this life. I have always felt the love that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ have for me wherever I go, especially when I am at church and the temple. I know this church is true. I know the scriptures are the guides to the answers that I seek. Prayer is my constant companion and it is such a blessing to be able to communicate with my Heavenly Father. I know that when things in my life start to take a turn for the worst, everything will be alright in the end; Heavenly Father knows my strengths and weaknesses and He knows what I am capable of. He loves me so much to help me become a better woman every day through the words of His prophets, leaders, the scriptures, and even through my family. My testimony continues to grow with His guidance and the guidance of the Holy Ghost. I am a Mormon because this gospel is the steady foundation in my life. I would not be the young woman I am today without it.

How I live my faith

I was called to teach 4 and 5 year old children for church and I loved it! Being able to teach the kids and to learn from them was such a great experience. I am now a sister missionary serving in the Oklahoma Tulsa Mission and it's given me countless opportunities to do what the Savior would do. I get to go out and tell people how God is our Heavenly Father and that He loves them and that Christ is our Savior and through Him we can experience greater happiness than we can ever imagine. I am able to serve others in more ways than one and being able to help and see people change for the better each day has been such a blessing.
