Hi I'm Armel Beardall

I am married to my best friend, we have 4 great kids. We love the outdoors. I am VP of an IT firm. I am a Mormon!

About Me

I am blessed. I love my wife and together we have 4 great kids. Life is busy as I try and keep up with all the activities they are involved in. We live in Utah and love the outdoors with boating in the summer and skiing in the winter. I work for an IT firm that provides solutions to the Department of Defense.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into an LDS family. I am grateful for parents that taught the principles of the gospel as I was raised. This exposure created experiences in which I felt the truthfulness of the gospel. I felt a simple peace as I contemplated the teachings of the Church. As I grew up, served a mission in South Korea, attended college and now have a family of my own, I continue to feel that same powerful peace as I study and consider the truthfulness of gospel principles. Equally as powerful, is the absence of peace as I am not living as I should. In time when I become relaxed in simple religious behavior: prayer, scripture study, and focused church attendance, there is a distance that develops. I am grateful that the distance narrows and the peace returns as I seek to live according to the teaching of the church. Life is too complex and challenges too great to navigate on your own.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being as true to the teaching of Christ as I can. I strive to be honest in my dealings, moral in my actions and an example to my children in a world where values seems to be relative. I often times fall short of the standards that Christ set for all of us but I believe that through his Atonement, I can seek forgiveness and re-double my efforts to ever strive to be better. This allows me to live my faith with hope!
