Hi I'm Alli Johnson

I love to smile and I love to laugh because the gospel makes me happy. I love who I am. Who am I? I am a Mormon.

About Me

I'm settled in Arizona with my dad, step-mom Cheryl, and step-sister Addy. I love my family. I love to smile, laugh, joke around, and just have fun. Music is a big inspiration for me. I love music! I sing. I play clarinet, and a little trumpet and piano. And I listen to music all the time. You'll often catch me blasting my music and dancing around the house, singing at the top of my lungs and, for those who know me well, I sing in the shower. I love to write too. I guess I just love creative, expressive forms of art. And, by the way, I LOVE the gospel!

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel is very important to me. I didn't really know much about the church until I was 8 years old. I moved in with my grandparents and they had the missionaries teach me. After learning the gospel, I was baptized. So, in a way I guess I basically grew up in the church. Although, I didn't really know for myself until the summer after I turned 18. One summer night, I was having a rough time. I decided to pray. During that prayer, I started pleading with the Lord as tears poured down my cheeks. The Lord confirmed the truth of the gospel to me through the Spirit and answered the questions I posed in my prayer through one of his children. The confirmation through the Holy Ghost was beautiful. My testimony grew so much in just that night. But it didn't stop there. I continually strengthen my testimony by keeping the commandments and doing more than what is asked of me. When I choose not to do these things I know to be, I notice such a drastically negative change. I am grateful for the peace, joy, and love the gospel brings into my life each and every day.

How I live my faith

Right now I am a Ward Missionary in the Singles Ward. Even apart from my calling, I love to share the gospel! Because I pray and read my scriptures often, I continually feel the Spirit's guidance. That warmth and joy I feel is so contagious that I just have to share it with others. Currently on my missionary expeditions, I invited a friend to church with me who is now baptized and stronger than ever as well as one of my best friends. Sharing the gospel brings such joy to my life. I continually strive to have the spirit with me by attending my church meetings, praying, reading my scriptures, fulfilling my callings, going to the temple, and simply striving to be more than an ordinary Latter-Day Saint, but rather an extraordinary servant of my Heavenly Father. I love living the gospel of Jesus Christ through simple acts of love in my own life, as well as touching the lives of Heavenly Father's children.
