Hi I'm Abigail

I'm a Mormon! Growing up with Congenital Heart Defects has helped me come closer to my Savior Jesus Christ!

About Me

I was born with Tetralogy of Fallot (a congenital heart defect). After surgery number one I was able to what most of the other kids did. I love to be outdoors and I was still able to go backpacking, camping, biking, swimming, and I learned to play the piano. After surgery number two I have never felt better! I have been able to do so much more! I can literally "run and not be weary"! Not soon after I had my second surgery I was diagnosed with Scoliosis. I have been able to battle everything with the help of my Savior!

Why I am a Mormon

Being born with a Congenital Heart Defect, faith has been a necessary part of my life. I have been able to need help from others, but that has never been enough. I have had to rely upon my Father in Heaven to help me in the ways that others haven't. I have been able to recognize his hand in my life as I have seen miracles happen! I know that I have a Father in Heaven who knows and loves not only me, but everyone else! I know that he has been able to have gone through everything that I have been through! I know that I can trust in my Savior and be able to come closer to him. I have been given the opportunity to see life in a new way, but that doesn't mean that you have to be born different to gain a testimony! Testimony starts with a desire to know! If you are ready to know for yourself if the Savior lives, ask! If you already have a testimony, strengthen it! If you need any help with anything, your Savior is just one prayer away! You are never forgotten! He loves you! I could not be who I am today without my knowledge and testimony of my Savior Jesus Christ!

How I live my faith

Living in a ward with a lot of youth, I get to serve others, mostly the young women ages 16-18. I love the youth of the church and love to spend my time growing with them!
