Hi I'm Marcy Munoz

I was born in Colombia. Grew up in Utah. One day I hope to become a Pediatric Oncologist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I believe a smile can brighten anyone's day and that laughing is the best remedy for most things in life. I love to be able to help out others. I used to work as a medical assistant. I aspire to become a Pediatric Oncologist. I love to spend time with my family [I love you mom and dad] and friends, they are a huge part of my support system. I am currently serving a mission in Rancho Cucamonga California.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon, because I without a doubt in my heart I know that this is the true church. The gospel was restored by Joseph Smith for us so that we might have that chance to return to our Heavenly Father once again. I know we were set on this earth to face trials and tribulations so that we could prove that we would follow the correct path. I know that sometimes its hard to keep moving forward through trials but with our faith and the Savior's love for us nothing is impossible. We are children of God, he loves us and knows each and everyone of us. I love this gospel, it has strengthened me in many ways and I have been able to receive various blessings in my life when I might not have felt like I deserved them. This gospel is about reaching everlasting happiness and finding out how to come to Christ. I can't express how grateful I am for having been baptized at the age of 8, for having that opportunity to know of the gospel and feel its truth. I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

How I live my faith

The way I live my faith is by facing each day with a smile & a prayer in my heart, ready to do the what my Heavenly Father would want me to do, even though at times I may not understand it. I do my best to read the Book of Mormon daily because by reading it I feel stronger and am able to gain knowledge and understanding of the plan that my Heavenly Father has. The Book of Mormon is just a wonderful tool that can be used by all of us to help us in any way shape and form.Throughout my life I have had many opportunities to serve my ward, I was blessed by receiving a lot of callings. I mainly got callings to work with the youth, which is such a wonderful experience. I got that opportunity to be a ward missionary, which helped me out a lot. Currently I am serving as a full-time missionary in the Rancho Cucamonga Mission, Spanish speaking!!
