Hi I'm Shari Leavitt

I am a business owner, a future social work major, a movie marathoner, handbag hoarder, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student attending Dixie State University, in hopes of becoming a Social Worker. I own a clothing and accessory shop in my hometown, which keeps me very busy! I am the activities director in my YSA ward and I love it! I enjoy hanging out with my family, walking my dogs, and getting the mail!

Why I am a Mormon

Every member has a conversion story. Some of us have a life impacting experience, and some of us are converting little by little a day at a time. I am a mormon because this isn't a "one size fits all" religion. My heavenly father knows me personally. He knows my strengths and gives me the opportunity to use them to help others. He also knows my weaknesses and when I fall short I know he will there to fill the gap. I am a mormon because, in a world that demands perfection, Our Heavenly father is saying "come as you are". He isn't concerned where we are on the path of righteousness. His only request is that we are headed in the right direction

How I live my faith

You don't need to argue. You don't need to prove. You just need to be.

How can I find someone to talk with, in person, about the Mormon religion?

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

They only people whom Mormons help are people who are in need. That's all of us at some point right? Show more Show less

Do Mormons practice polygamy?

Shari Leavitt
Absolutely not! I have been asked several times how many mom's. My answer is always the same...act very surprised and say "One...? Why? How many do YOU have??" Polygamy was a part of Mormon's history, but it wasn't uncommon back then. Show more Show less
