Hi I'm Kirsten

I'm from Northern California. I play the violin. I'm a sister, a daughter, and an aunt. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Born and raised in beautiful northern California, I am the third of four children in my family. I have played the violin since I was six and am currently studying violin performance in college; I think music is a very powerful means of communication. I also love hiking, rock climbing, reading, picking huckleberries, and learning about astronomy and the universe. But my favorite thing is spending time with family. I have one beautiful niece and will soon have a handsome little nephew! I can't wait to meet him.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the gospel of Jesus Christ works! Answers to prayers do come. God does love us and wants us to be happy. We each have an incredible potential which God, through the good times and the hard times, is working to help us reach. I do my best to read my scriptures and pray every day; that effort has helped me feel God's love and direction in my life. I am so grateful of the gospel of Jesus Christ because it gives me hope, purpose, and strength. If we will seek Him, He will be there.

How I live my faith

I am serving as a missionary on the East Coast for the next eighteen months speaking Spanish. I will learn Spanish there. I will be teaching about Jesus Christ and His gospel to anyone who is interested, as well as participating in service while on the mission. I recently chose and led the music during church meetings, and before that volunteered with helping organize activities for church.
