Hi I'm Braden Roberts

I'm a twin, I love being active, and having a great time with those I Love. I'm #4 in a family of 8 kids, and two great parents.

About Me

My name is Braden Porter Roberts. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I was born and raised in Utah. I graduated from Bear River High School in 2013. As a child I worked on my Grandfather's farm picking rocks out of fields with my brothers and cousins. I love to be physically active! I am involved with Parkour and enjoy playing all kinds of sports. I will be serving a mission In Omaha, Nebraska, starting October 14th. I feel very blessed to go and serve there as it is the mission that my grandfather served in. The career I hope to pursue is 3D modeling with a major in computer programming. I am in a family of 8 kids. I have one sister and six brothers. One of them is my twin. I am an Eagle scout and am a member of the Order of The Arrow.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I choose to be. For a long time I felt like the only reason I went to church was because that is what my parents wanted me to do. But one day while I was reading my scriptures I decided to kneel down and pray, and ask for myself if this was the true church of Christ. I also asked if he did want me to serve a mission and if all the things I had learned in church and in seminary were true. My answer came in one of the simplest but yet most assuring ways I could have imagined. As I finished my prayer I almost thought I heard my Father in Heaven chuckle a little in my mind. And the answer I got was... My Son, You already know the things which you have asked are true. From that moment on I Knew that This is indeed the true Church of Christ, and that he sent his son to earth to die for us, so that we may return to him one day. I LOVE this gospel and I love The gift of the Holy Ghost. I wouldn't trade my religion for anything in the world.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by sharing it with others. I love to be social, i have a great group of friends who all share the same standards I do. Everything I do I try to do it with a positive attitude and with a smile. I loved going to seminary and increasing my knowledge of the gospel. I love to go to the temple and to feel the Holy Ghost testify to me the truth of all things. I will be serving a mission In Omaha, Nebraska, starting October 14th. I feel very blessed to go and serve there as it is the mission that my grandfather served in.
