Hi I'm Koltin Stanger

I was born in Ethiopia. Grew up in Orem, Utah. I'm an athlete, Missionary and a Student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up loving the outdoors and staying physically active. I participated in soccer, basketball, football, track and field, etc. I am an Eagle Scout. I attended Brigham Young University for my Freshman year. I am majoring in Mechanical Engineering and Business. I am a member of SAE and competed in Washington with the BYU team. When I get home from my mission I want to join the military and finish school.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I love the gospel and the pure doctrine that we are taught. We are taught the gospel of Christ and not the teachings and interpretations of man. The gospel of Christ is literally designed for the happiness of those who are willing to learn and live it. We will go through hard times and challenges but that is part of learning and growing.

How I live my faith

Growing up in Utah, basically everyone I associated with was Mormon. But it was still tough especially when my friends who were members would participate in inappropriate activities. What kept me close to my faith was teachings from my parents and church. I also participated in youth organized activities and the Scouting program. As I was going going to High School I was enrolled in seminary. I have also been called to serve an LDS mission in Bahia Blanca, Argentina.
