Hi I'm Chase Scott Carroll

I'm 20 years old. I grew up in Gilbert Arizona. I am serving in Nevada Las Vegas for two years on an LDS Mission. I am a Mormon!

About Me

I am currently serving in the Navada Las Vegas Mission. I love to hangout with friends and working hard. I have an amazing family, and I love my friends. We always know how to have a good time. Some things i love is cars, old and new, my dream is to have a car collection , i want to be big in like , i want to go one to play MLB Baseball for the New York Mets one day, as well as be a doctor. I want to go to med school to become a anesthesiologist. One day i would like to find "Sister Carroll" that's up there on the list of things after i return home from my mission. I also like riding my Unicycles, and reading the Book Of Mormon ! I love the Gospel and how I have come closer to Christ everyday. Serving a mission brakes down the Gospel right before your eyes, its amazing seeing people change in the everyday like, and come closer to Christ and his teachings, that's my favorite part of my mission is helping people come to a better understanding of the Gospel, through Faith, Repentance, Baptizam, to enter into a covinent or promise with god, that you will keep his commandments and follow his teachings we have now and teachings and Revelation from the prophets, and to apply the atonement in our everyday life's, then go and get married in the temple so that we are sealed for all time and eternity to our spouse for not just this life , for ever. Its a long hall, but its going to be glorious in the end , when we go back home to our father in heaven ! God know and Loves all of us.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church. However, even as I have become older, I have needed to ask myself this question. I am a Mormon because I exercised my faith and as I did so I found these things to be true. This is Christ's church. I know that because as I live the teachings I find myself growing closer to God, my father, and that is a relationship that I know I want.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by searching for more understanding, as I do so I gain a stronger testimony and then I go out and share my story with people. I am on a mission now to do exactly that. Before my mission I strove to help out young men my age in my church come closer to God. I live my faith by living the commandments we have been given. I know that this takes faith and courage. As a missionary I want to work hard to represent my Savior, Jesus Christ. He did service and loved everybody equally. I think that as I strive to do that I am living my faith.Brothers and sisters, this is a divine work in process, with the manifestations and blessings of it abounding in every direction, so please don’t hyperventilate if from time to time issues arise that need to be examined, understood, and resolved. They do and they will. In this Church, what we know will always trump what we do not know. And remember, in this world, everyone is to walk by faith.

What is the priesthood?

Chase Scott Carroll
The priesthood is the authority to act in God’s name. The same priesthood authority that existed in the original Church established by Jesus Christ exists in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints today. The Church is directed and led through this authority. All male members of the Church who are prepared receive the priesthood in order to help lead the Church and serve Heavenly Father’s children. A man with the priesthood might serve in some of the following ways: ◾Leading congregations of the Church ◾Performing the ordinances of the Church, such as baptism ◾Blessing those who are sick God expects those who hold this sacred priesthood authority to follow the example of Jesus Christ and serve with love, gentleness, and kindness.
