Hi I'm Anna!

Alaska girl turned Washingtonian. Now a Visiting Center Missionary in Nauvoo Illinois! I’m a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a rock climber, dancer, swimmer, singer, sketcher, pianist, guitarist, baker, and eager student along with many other things. I am the 2nd of 5 children, currently the oldest child in the house. I'm very close to my family, I could not have chosen a better one myself. Was home schooled and currently hope to go to Brigham Young University of Idaho or Bastyr University when I get back from my mission.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? There are a lot of reasons but the main ones are that I have read the whole Book of Mormon and Bible along with the Doctrines and Covenants and the Pearl of Great Price and I have prayed about each and every one of them multiple times and each and every time I get the answer that they all come from the inspiration from Heavenly Father and I have done the same for this church hundreds and hundreds of times and again the same answer, I just feel the peace and clarity that this is right. I love my Heavenly Father and savior for loving me and for all the things they have done for me and everyone around me. I love this gospel and feel every bit of it is right and true to Gods principals. I wouldn't give it up for the world! It teaches how important family is and I hold to my family like a rock and wouldn't be anywhere close to who I am now without them or my family's and my strong belief in this church. Now I'm not saying the church has made my life all rainbows and butterflies but I know it has helped me be a better person and to have confidence in myself. It has pushed through the stormy parts of my life helping provide me with a determination to keep pushing forward with a smile on my face. My life has not been easy. I had almost crippling scoliosis, it nearly put me in a wheel chair. I have dyslexia and a rare eye condition that most glasses won't even help with. along with all that my mother raised and homeschooled me while fighting MS. I know that the leaders in this church are inspired of God and that they are placed where they need to be by Him, like Joseph Smith was. Likewise, I know that my Heavenly Father has put me where I need to be and that' is why I am a Mormon!

How I live my faith

I'm a Missionary. I have a belief in living and sharing what I know will help other people. I have been prepared in the Missionary Training Center so that I can be the best I can be at helping myself being the best person I can be and help others to come unto Christ! Along with personal scripture study to help me move through the challenges in my life, I live to the best of my current capabilities to be a good example of Christ.
